bookmark (nothing!)
okay not really. i did casually slip in the Phaidon mail card or an eraser or a measuring tape or the leather strap of my bag or anything that's hanging around, for a break before i continued. but basically i read the two books nonstop so i didn't really need bookmarks. forced myself to finish them all at once not because they're engaging, but because the register of them are unbearable i can't stand spending days reading them. as irritating as they are, i'm afraid i have to agree with some of his views, that Saatchi.
